The mission of Father Woody’s Haven of Hope is to provide food, shelter, clothing, counseling, rehabilitation and hygienic services to the homeless and indigent men and women in Denver; we are here to serve, not to judge. We treat each guest with respect, dignity and a friendly face. We do not receive any government funds and rely solely on donations and grants.

The planned four story building will be adjacent to our current facility and will include rooms for all of our new services, a conference room, outside guest queue area and additional storage. The renovation of our existing space includes additional cold food storage, expansion of the dining room seating area, additional phones and computer stations.

Our current facility cannot fully meet the needs of those who would like a hand up in getting their lives back on track.

Even with our current donations, volunteers and fundraisers, we are only able to provide so much to our homeless community. With capital support, we will be able to take the next big step in providing more space and more services to truly help our homeless guests in taking back their lives. With this new facility, more homeless men & women in Denver will have access to basic necessities, as well as counseling, healthcare, and services that are essential to gaining self-sufficiency and making our community stronger. Our hope: more families and children will be off of the street, and more individuals will be empowered to go into the workforce, having a lasting positive effect on their lives and the community.

There is a growing need for services that help individuals get on the path to self-sufficiency, beyond the basic necessities. Father Woody’s currnetly serves up to 800 meals a day in a facility that seats only 80. We gain approximately 300 new guests each month. Father Woody’s is at it’s maximum capacity each day, yet we strive to treat each guest on a one-on-one basis and meet each individual’s needs. With a new, larger facility and operating funds, we will be able to expand current efforts and provide new services including:

• GED classes
• Dental clinic
• Eye clinic
• Mental health
• Pet clinic
• Money management
• NA/AA meetings
• VA representative

• Employment readiness classes
• Job training classes
• Legal
• Dress for success
• Master garden program
• Semi-Annual Job Fair
• Nurse
• Dietitian

On February 18th our original building was demolished to make way for
